Daily round-up of Asian nylon value-chain

In Chinese market Caprolactam prices again moved down by RMB 200 / ton, from RMB 22,400 / ton to RMB 22,200 / ton. Upstream product price was also in declining trend, market speculator waited for stabilization of the Caprolactam prices.
Like in the last three days, Nylon Chips prices once again fell by RMB 100 / ton and new prices assessed around RMB 24,200 / ton. Market traders still expected fall in Nylon chip prices in parallel with upstream product prices.
Nylon POY, FDY and DTY prices remained stable around RMB 26,900 / ton, RMB 28,200 / ton and RMB 29,600 / ton respectively. Nylon filament producers were found to be happy due to reduction in raw material prices and they have now increased their operating rates.
