For the first time Graduate Fashion Week has collaborated with critically acclaimed photographer and all-round icon Rankin, to create this year's campaign images.
Rankin says:
“I really enjoyed this shoot. There was a stunning array of truly innovative and often outrageous design, and stylist Katie Shillingford did a great job of choosing the top 10 looks. It was incredibly easy to shoot the clothes - each piece was so beautiful and full of character. I'm sure among the 2010 graduates we will see a designer that will catch the fashion world's imagination!”
Working closely with Dazed and Confused fashion editor Katie Shillingford, to select from the pick of this season's graduates, the shoots images feature student's from the University of Wales, Colchester School of Art & Design, Nottingham Trent University, Birmingham City University, Kingston University, De Montfort University, University of Northampton, University of Westminster and Ravensbourne College.
“Having their work photographed by Rankin has been a dream come true for these 11 students and to have the support of one of the world's leading photographers is a huge honour. Rankin's involvement is a great endorsement for Graduate Fashion Week and speaks volumes about the industry's support of the event and its place on the international fashion scene.”
