The Rs 25.28 billion turnover (2009-10), Raymond Ltd has decided to pull down the shutters on its Be:Home, premium soft furnishings retailing chain within two years of re-launching the chain.

The company has closed down all the four stores in Mumbai and Delhi, informed a company spokesperson. According to him the move was as per the part of a brand rationalisation and consolidation drive.

The Gautam Singhania led Raymond had originally launched the chain in 2001 as Be:, but was winded up in 2007, with the intent to reposition it. It was re-launched as Be:Home, a year later.

Spanning from a mid to premium pricing range, the chain provides an assortment of quilts, blankets, robes, apparels, wall décor, vases, candles, gourmet cooking range all under one roof.
