Wuhan Petro expedites construction of ethylene plant

Wuhan Petrochemical Company under the Sinopec Group has revealed recently that it will invest 4 billion Yuan this year in its new ethylene project.
The amount will be mainly spent in construction of infrastructure and utilities like water supply, electricity, roads and other facilities.
The target of Wuhan Petrochemicals is to complete the construction of the 800,000 tons ethylene plant by the end of 2012.
The Wuhan ethylene project is one of the key projects conceived in the 11th Five-Year plan and is expected to be put in to full production in the first half of 2013.
