Tests, discussions & interviews in full swing at FDDI

The Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Design Aptitude Test (DAT) of the short listed candidates for admission to the various Post Graduate progammes and Under Graduate programmes of the Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI) is going on in full swing.
“Students selected after taking the AIST/GD/PI/DAT entrance will undergo the counseling process on 22nd & 23rd July 2010 for the PG programmes and 26th & 27th July 2010 for the UG programmes which will be conducted face-to-face by FDDI faculty/staff and will help in addressing any unresolved issues that an aspiring candidate has.” - Mr. Rajeev Lakhara, IRS, Managing Director, FDDI.
The GD, PI and DAT of the various programmes of FDDI has commenced from 5th July 2010 which will be over by 10th July 2010 at its campus in Noida.
The Post Graduate programmes & Under Graduate programmes of FDDI's Noida, Rae Bareli and the new campuses at Chennai, Kolkata, Chhindwara and Rohtak are recognized and accepted in the academic parlance.
FDDI has conducted an All India Selection Test (AIST) at 27 centers all over India on 12th, 13th & 14th June 2010 for its various programmes in the area of Retail Management, Footwear Design & Technology and Leather Goods & Accessories Design.
The consolidated result for AIST/GD/PI/DAT will be available at FDDI's website by 15th July 2010 and the aspiring candidates will be informed about the rank achieved and schedule for counseling.
Sharing the details, Mr. Rajeev Lakhara, IRS, Managing Director, FDDI, said “Students selected after taking the AIST/GD/PI/DAT entrance will undergo the counseling process on 22nd & 23rd July 2010 for the PG programmes and 26th & 27th July 2010 for the UG programmes which will be conducted face-to-face by FDDI faculty/staff and will help in addressing any unresolved issues that an aspiring candidate has.”
“The programme and the campus will be allotted to the successful candidates on the basis of their ranks during the counseling to be conducted at its Noida Centre,” added Mr. Lakhara.
The result of the AIST 2010 was declared on 23rd June 2010 and was posted at FDDI's website www.fddiindia.com.
FDDI adopts a transparent approach and procedure by applying a same yard stick and fairly carries out the extended counseling session, to all candidates.
The Institute has witnessed an unprecedented rush for admissions to the various programmes for the academic session 2010-11 for all of its Centres.
