PTA spot import prices rise sharply

Spot prices of PTA import market rose sharply. Offers for Taiwan's cargo were around US $1430-1450/ ton, downstream inquiries increased, actually negotiated prices were around US $1420-1430/ ton, offers for South Korea's cargo were around US $1400 /ton, actually negotiated price was around US $1380/ ton, supply was small, traders were reluctant sellers, trading atmosphere was better in the market, but actual negotiation was light.
PTA prices rose in North China market. Trading atmosphere was better in the market, offers were light, sporadic offers rose to 11,250 Yuan / ton, counteroffers from downstream market were around 11,100 Yuan/ ton, actually negotiated prices were around 11100-11200 Yuan / ton, trading atmosphere was fair, actual turnover was small.
PTA price in East China rose sharply, offers from holders were around 11100-11300 Yuan / ton, counteroffers from downstream market were around US $11,000 Yuan / ton, actually negotiated prices were about 11100-11200 Yuan / ton, trading atmosphere was warm, actual negotiation was light, no reported deals.
