This year's Work It Conference will be held in conjunction with the Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show this April 5th and 6th has attracted a galaxy of industry stars to the platform.

The European working garment industry faces many new and ongoing challenges in 2011. To help mitigate the effects you need to find out what is going on from those on the front line.

Amaury Sartorius is responsible for all aspects of sales, including strategic development, of the Western and Southern European markets; managing and co-ordinating the activities of a highly experienced sales force to develop and maintain key business relationships in the sector.

Ed Gribbins, President, Alvanon Inc.
Edward A. Gribbin is President of Alvanon, Inc. – the 'Apparel Fit Expert'. Ed leads Alvanon teams around the globe helping fashion industry clients optimize their fit, sizing and product development strategies.

Graham Burden, Consultant, Sustainable Textile Solutions
Graham was an employee of Marks and Spencer for 34 years until his retirement in 2008. He worked in all clothing areas, as a fabric development technologist, working on innovation, developing new fabric sources and ensuring quality and performance standards were understood and achieved.

Austin Simmons, CEO SATRA
Initially from an engineering background (British Aerospace, General Electric Company), Austin has 30 years of evaluation and testing experience covering many types of consumer products including vehicles, footwear, personal protective equipment, clothing and furniture.

Dr Brian Balmer, Industry Principal, Frost & Sullivan
Dr. Balmer is Industry Principal for Performance Materials. He has been analysing PPE and workwear markets for Frost & Sullivan for over ten years.

Mike Madeiros, Supply Chain Manager Pacific Brands
Mike has worked in all aspects relating to garment sourcing, production, importing, warehousing and distribution for more than 25 years. He initially worked for large PLC's at board level and then went on to set up his own businesses providing design, sourcing, manufacturing and distribution services to a number of major high street retailers.
