TENCEL SUN wins ECO Responsibility Award

Feb '11
TENCEL SUN, designed to provide permanent protection from the sun through pigment incorporation into the fiber, wins the 2011 ispo ECO Responsibility Award, given to concepts promising to be sustainably environment-friendly. TENCEL SUN won in the category fabrics&fibers.

TENCEL SUN is the outdoor fiber for discerning demands. It is by nature ideal for clothing in which moisture absorption plays a role. The fiber offers a wide range of functions for sports clothing such as perfect moisture management, skin friendliness and temperature balance. Thanks to an incorporated sun protection agent, TENCEL SUN is the ultimate fiber for activewear and outdoor clothing.

TENCEL SUN is made from wood and is 100 % bio-degradable. The fiber is therefore the perfect alternative to polyester fibers and conventionally finished fabrics with solar protection.
