The Government of Uzbekistan has taken up a resolution to develop a textile plant on modern lines in the Namangan city of Uzbekistan.
Namimpeks-tekstil LLC has taken up the responsibility to construct the plant with an investment of 10 billion soums to buy and install the equipment, spare parts and construction of other assembling works.
The undertaking intends to come up with a textile plant having a production capacity of 3,900 tons of yarn, 8 million meters of cotton cloth and 500,000 units of readymade garments.
Namimpeks-tekstil LLC is likely to generate 200 employment opportunities and export 80 percent of the commodities, manufactured at the plant.
The government suggested the Ipoteka-Bank to think over the application of the company regarding the allocation of loans.
