Satya Paul in Dubai to close four days of fashion shows

India's premier designer label, Satya Paul, will take part in The Bride Show Dubai bringing his signature prints and exclusive bridal wear to the Middle East's most prestigious bridal extravaganza.

The designer, who has recently celebrated 25 years in the fashion industry, is well known for his collections full of playful colours and innovative fabrics which enhance the beauty and elegance of enterprising, sensitive and desiring women of today.

His fashion show, guaranteed to draw in hundreds of brides to be, their entourages and fashion lovers alike will take place on the last day of The Bride Show Dubai, Saturday 2 April at 9pm in the Sheikh Saeed halls of the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.

The only fashion event of this scale in the Middle East open to the general public, The Bride Show Dubai hosts four days of bridal wear, haute couture evening wear, abaya and jelibaya collections to suit the multi-cultural nature of women in the UAE.

Fellow Indian designers, Anjali & Arun Kapoor and Salim Asgarally, who wowed The Bride Show crowds in Dubai in 2008 with his spectacular creations, will also take part this year.

Now in its 14th year, The Bride Show Dubai has become well known for attracting leading names from the Middle East and Asian regions.

Manish Malhotra and Vikram Phadnis, both firm Bollywood's favourites, Ahmed Al Reyaysa, the UAE's Kind of Wedding Dresses, and Julea Domani, the winner of last year's Best Female Designer for Prêt a Porter have all graced the catwalk of the wedding fair.

And in February, The Bride Show Abu Dhabi hosted flamboyant celebrity fashion designer Tony Yaacoub, who flew in from Lebanon to show his spectacular bridal gowns to an adoring crowd of brides to be.

The Bride Show Dubai attracts approximately 300 exhibitors from around the world which showcase traditional and contemporary wedding wear, beauty products, jewellery, wedding venues options and honeymoon destinations. Vendors range from international brands such as Estee Lauder, Max Factor and L'Oreal to regionally-based businesses such as UAE Abaya designers DAS Collection.

The Bride Show Dubai opens on Wednesday 30th March, 2:30pm to 10:30pm and runs until Saturday 2nd April 2011 in Sheikh Saeed Halls 1, 2 and 3, Dubai International Exhibition Centre. Entry is 10dhs. The show is sponsored by Khamsa Couture, Zadina and After You Say Yes – Sima.
