Benzene prices registered a steady rise even as sellers quoted it higher at $700 per metric ton FOB Korea.
However, bids for January cargoes have been placed at $680 per metric ton.
Prices were driven on the fact that the US and the Europe markets saw increases, aided by upstream crude, naphtha and ethylene values that also registered upward revision.
Sellers seems to be in happy position at the cost of buyers while offers for Styrene Monomer gathered steam crossing $970 FOB Korea mark.
Further rally is on cards as benzene bids are steadily inching higher in Asia.
