EUPEA puts up areas of concern before Textile Secretary (GOI)

Textile Secretary in her blessing assured her best efforts to fulfill these reasonable demands, and instructed EUPEA to form habit of visiting Textile Secretariat at Delhi regularly without hesitation even incase of just briefing sector's to date ground reality.

Mr Narendra Kapoor envisages this meeting to be very beneficial for sector's overall development.

“We heartily thank Mrs Menon for this considerate gesture most needed for betterment of our textile sector,” he gushes gratefully.

Without fail he also mentions that Ms Annu Tandon (MP Unnao) has been extensively instrumental for silk yarn import duty cut from 30% to 5% as well as driving textile ministry's attention towards potential of Varanasi textile industry for which EUPEA remains obliged.

President Mr Navin Kapoor jointly with Narendra Kapoor, presented a momento to Textile Secretary and also handed over token of gratitude in form of Varanasi Silk Sarees.

Besides team of EUPEA, Mr R K Singh (GM) Cottage Industry and Mr Nirmal Sinha (Chairman) Handloom & Handicraft Export Corporation were also present in the meeting.
