Others who have agreed to attend are Felix Neureuther; Alpinist Kazuja Hiraide, the 17th winner of the Piolet d’Or Award and the first Japanese athlete to capture this ‘Academy Award’ of mountaineering; the multi-world champion surfer Björn Dunkerbeck; the skier and Paralympic gold medallist Andrea Rothfuss, and the Portuguese ultra trailrunner João Andrade. Thomas Huber of Huber Buam will present his new book, ‘In den Bergen ist Freiheit’ (Freedom Is Found in the Mountains), at the Young Pirates’ booth.
For three full days, the latest developments in the world of sports will be discussed on the main stage of the newly created Future Lab: The conference will open at 10 a.m. on the first day of the trade fair, November 28, with a panel discussion about the future of winter sports. The issues will be discussed by Martin Dolezal (Snowsports Academy), John Yang (Helly Hansen), Bernhard Ratschiller (Snow 51) and Gerald Stöllnberger (360 Perspektiven). At the same time, Schöffel will hold a news conference with Felix Neureuther.

On Wednesday, November 30, the final day of the trade fair, ISPO will present the Consumer Insights Report & Alibaba.com Insights containing facts about brands and sports trends starting at 12:30 p.m. At 1 p.m., the Diversity and Inclusion Panel will open its discussion. The panel will be comprised of former Olympic decathlon gold medallist Christian Schenk, the social entrepreneur Katharina Inselkammer and the bicycle racer and a Paralympic medallist Denise Schindler.
