Propylene soars in Europe, stays steady in US last week

Propylene prices soared in Europe in the last week ended March 25 due to improved downstream market sentiments in the region.

However, due to dull buying sentiments, average prices were stable in the US.

In Europe, average prices expanded by €40/ton or 7.34 per cent and were assessed at €585/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In US, average prices were steady and were quoted at 20 cents/pound in the last week, as against its prior week.
