PTA prices in Asia drop previous week

PTA prices in Asia went down in the last week owing to weaker upstream energy values in the region.
In FE Asia, average prices declined by US$ 20/ton while settling at US$ 1,000/ton in the prior week from US$ 1,020/ton in the week before.
In SE Asia, average prices moved lower to US$ 1,020/ton in the previous week, a fall of 1.92 per cent from the earlier week at US$ 1,040/ton.
During the last week, average prices in India fell by US$ 15/ton to US$ 1,020/ton, a reduction of 1.45 per cent in comparison to US$ 1,035/ton in the last week.
