Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) has announced the winners for the annual Golden Image Awards competition. A comprehensive list of winners is released online at SGIA website, and all entries were displayed at the SGIA awards gallery in the hall F lobby at PRINTING United expo, which was held in Dallas, US, from October 23 – 25, 2019.
Open only to SGIA members, the Golden Image competition honours industry-leading printing in more than 50 categories. This year, judges evaluated 231 entries from 71 companies. “Members showed us that they’re stretching the bounds of what they can do, with the most impressive results. We’ve been conducting the Golden Image competition since 1981, and this year’s entries really stood out. PRINTING United spotlights the full range of printing technologies, and the Golden Image competition puts what those technologies can do centre stage. There’s some remarkable work going on in our industry,” SGIA vice president, print technology and training, Johnny Shell said.
