“The vote is the most powerful non-violent tool we have,” said IDT’s director Anupam Goyal who took the initiative. He feels that first-time voters are excited about voting, but need information about candidates, issues, and even how and where to cast their ballots.
The institute presented roses to first-time voters while they learned the importance of a single vote and how to cast their precious votes.
“IDT urges every citizen to join hands to fulfil their duties by being a privileged member as soon as they turn 18! We must vote for hope, vote for life, vote for a brighter future for all of our loved ones. Your one vote can decide the nation’s future,” said Goyal.
“Make love with nation this Valentine’s Day and let your vote be your voice,” he added.
As an educational institution, IDT is regarded not only for its courses, but also for its unique ethos that nurtures and strengthens an individual’s character and personality, so that every student who steps out of the institution is a complete person—professionally, intellectually and morally.
