Sympatex Technologies has bagged the 'Top Job Seal' award for its strategic orientation by sustainably securing skilled personnel, by increasing the attractiveness as an employer.

“This is the first award as an employer for ecological alternative among functional textile specialists,” Sympatex Technologies said in a press release.

The Centre for Employer Attractiveness awards companies with the quality 'Top Job' seal that support a healthy workplace culture in a remarkable way.

It is awarded to companies whose employees who have a high level of work satisfaction and who are able to work under pressure in a seasonally very demanding business performance.

According to Sympatex, the Top Job Seal award has compared German employers since 2002, and Sympatex was particularly convincing in the categories 'Culture & Communication' and 'Internal Entrepreneurship'.

“The company has been successful, regarding involvement of employees in strategic planning as well as its management's transparent information policy about operating and financial results,” it added.

“Excellent internal communication and strong shared values create a high level of motivation and thus they deliver a clearly better performance in a complex international competitive environment,” the company observed.

Under the 'Internal Entrepreneurship' category, employees are offered entrepreneurial scope, which has led to numerous ideas for product and process improvements at Sympatex.

“A new clothing technology that has recently been presented at the sports equipment fair ISPO 2016 was also created by suggestions of employees regarding the innovation of products,” Sympatex stated.

“We are very proud of our 'Top Job Seal' award and we are of course also happy that the motivation for and by the employees is honoured like this,” Michael Kamm, managing director at Sympatex said.

“Employer attractiveness is an important strategic factor for us when it comes to the comparison with considerably bigger and better-known competitors,” he too added.

“With the help of the 'Top Job' analysis and the feedback of our employees, we will continue to improve our employer qualities,” Kamm also informed.

Scientists of the Institute for Leadership and Personnel Management of St. Gallen University asked the personnel management online about their HR methods and instruments.

Furthermore, they carried out an employee survey that made up two thirds of the end result, while the other one-third was made up by the HR instruments. (AR)
