Terrot to show new textile machinery at India ITME 2016

Terrot Group, German manufacturer of electronic controlled circular knitting machines, is set to display machine models FOR double jersey fabrics and sinkerless technology for flawless single jersey production, at India ITME 2016, the 10th India International Textile Machinery Exhibition, to be held in Mumbai, from December 3 to 8, 2016, in hall 7, booth B9.

The company will display Terrot I3P184 machine model, a high-performance knitting machine for the production of quality fine-rib, interlock fabrics, milano rib, piquérodier or double-faced fabrics.

In the design of the I3P 184, extensive development efforts and years of experience in knitting technology have led to a significant increase in performance and a broader variety of applications.

Due to the improved heat insulation, as there is a layer of air between front and rear, Interlock surfaces keep the body warmer compared to traditional single knitted fabrics.

Humidity removal property of interlock knitted fabrics is also higher since it has a bulk structure. Interlock fabrics are widely used in underwear, summer and winter apparel, special sportswear and medical tops. It can also be used as a technically protective textile.

Double faced fabrics offer many advantages as they are easily reversible having two attractive right surfaces. They may have an identical face on each side or may vary in pattern or colour, from decent shades up to strong contrasts. Unlike double cloth, the two faces of this fabric cannot be separated.

Double jersey knitted fabrics of I3P Terrot machines offer perfect conditions for this kind of further processing due to the consistent top quality of both surfaces.

Terrot will also display the Pilotelli MacchineTessili Sinkerless Technology SL-4, the latest generation of Pilotelli’s sinkerless technology that incorporates newly engineered technology. Easy to use, the Pilotelli sinkerless machine guarantees high output and reduced maintenance.

The machine model stands for extremely reliable plating technology - especially when using elastane. It provides a very user-friendly operation. Reduced maintenance requirements result in more than ten times longer production periods. It masters fine fabrics up to gauge E44 and the stitch forming technique is in a stationary point of the cylinder.

The SL-4 model is available with tubular frame or open width frame, and is also available in special configuration for high-speed production. This machine model is ideal for the production of leisure wear textiles. (GK)
