Tight availability propels Asian MEG prices last week

Tight product availability in the region propelled Asian MEG prices in the last week ended September 4.

In SE Asia, average prices grew by US$ 30/ton or 4.51 per cent and were quoted at US$ 695/ton in the last week, as compared to its previous week.

In India, average prices rose by US$ 30/ton and were assessed at US$ 695/ton in the last week, up 4.51 per cent as against its prior week.

In China, average prices climbed by US$ 25/ton and were spotted at US$ 690/ton in the last week, an increase of 3.76 per cent from its earlier week.
