Tight supply of product pushes up benzene prices in US

Benzene prices went up in US in the last week due to tight supply of product in the region.
 
In US, average prices improved by 15 cents/gallon and quoted at 270 cents/gallon, a hike of 5.88 per cent as compared to previous week.
 
Meanwhile in Europe, benzene prices increased by US$ 45/ton and assessed at US$ 800/ton, a rise of 5.96 per cent as compared to the previous week due to persistent product demand in the region.
