NCC US names 2022 directors; elects Nathan Reed as chairman of ACP

The National Cotton Council (NCC) of America has announced directors for 2022 at the recent annual meeting in Houston, Texas. Nathan Reed, a cotton producer, has also been elected chairman of the American Cotton Producers (ACP) of the NCC. Reed, who is also a past NCC director, has served as an ACP vice-chairman and on multiple ACP committees.

Elected as ACP vice chairmen were: Adam Hatley, Mesa, Ariz.; Jon Whatley, Odem, Texas; and Matt Coley, Vienna, Georgia, NCC said in a press release.

Elected as ACP producer directors were David Dunlow, Gaston, N.C., representing the Southeast; Patrick Johnson, Tunica, Miss., representing the Mid-South; and Gary Martin, Firebaugh, Calif., representing the West. Doyle Schniers of San Angelo, Texas, was re-elected as a director representing the Southwest. 

Serving as ACP state producer chairmen in 2022 will be : Alabama – Nick McMichen, Centre; and Shep Morris, Sr., Shorter; Arizona – Jerry Rovey and K.C.
