Stahl is rated on the material issues as they pertain to their company's size, location and industry. These evidence-based assessments are refined into scorecards and the scores lead to a medal (bronze, silver, gold).
“The external rating from EcoVadis provides many useful insights. We are ranked among the top 10 per cent of peers that have a confirmed CSR engagement and even in the top 1 per cent of companies on sustainable procurement. The scorecards provide guidance on strengths and improvement areas, which we can use to focus our sustainability efforts and develop corrective action plans to improve our sustainability performance,” Michael Costello, ESG director at Stahl, said in a press release.

Suppliers are expected to comply with the Stahl code of conduct and to use a proactive approach in maintaining the standards set forth in the code of conduct, and to conduct themselves with responsibility and integrity.
