China International Silk Fair to be held in October 2005

China International Silk Fair (hereinafter referred to as Silk Fair) has been successfully held for 5 years since 2000. It has shown great importance in impelling the exchanges of China's silk industry with other nations, promoting the improvement of silk grades and expanding the consumption of silk products. Therefore, in order to further promote and enhance communication and cooperation between China and other nations, 2005 China International Silk Fair will be held from October 20 to October 23, 2005 in Hangzhou.
During 2005 China International Silk Fair, new silk products and brands popularization will be held, fashion square will be set up to bring forth newly-developed silk surface cloth, clothing and silk craftworks. Meanwhile, 2006-2007 Spring and Summer Silk Popular Color and Popular China Silk Surface Cloth will be promulgated.
The responsible commercial sections shall organize, in accordance with the requirements of 2005 China International Silk Fair Plan (see Appendix), local silk production and trade enterprises to take part in the Fair, especially the excellent enterprises with self-developed brands.
