RSWM wins SRTEPC award for Best Export Performance

Synthetic & Rayon Textiles Export Promotion Council (SRTEPC) named Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Ltd. (RSWM) the Second Best Overall Export Performer of the 2004-2005 year.
Textile Minister, Shankersinh Vaghela presented the award to M L Jhunjhunwala, Sr Vice President, RSWM.
Statistics show that RSWM reached Rs111 crore mark with 95 percent rise in the manmade fibre blended yarns export category while export of 100 percent Viscose yarns grew by 69 percent to reach Rs44 crore.
On the whole RSWM exports recorded a 40 percent year-on year increase to reach Rs294 crore.
The award ceremony was followed by a fashion show in which Mayur Suitings, a brand owned by RSWM showcased their newest range of fabrics.
RSWM is the world-renowned largest manufacturer and exporter of synthetic spun yarn from India.
