Confederation of Indian Textile Industry will arrange TEXMAC India 2007 in next year January.
The 2nd Atexcon event will take place on January 18-19, 2007 in New Delhi.
2007 Atexcon is being held concurrently with 1st International Textile Machinery Exhibition (TEXMAC 2007) being organised by IMAG – Internationaler Messe, Germany on 17 – 20 January 2007 in New Delhi.
CITI and IMAG have signed an MOU on 9th January 2006 agreeing to hold both these events concurrently and in cooperation with each other.
In addition to promoting both events together and separately by IMAG through Fair Design India Pvt Ltd, their agents in India and CITI, IMAG will also be one of the Sponsors for the 2nd Atexcon.
The 2nd Atexcon will be concentrating on issues relating to developments in the textile, clothing and allied industries of Asian countries and in the markets of major importing countries for such products.
Dr Rajaram Jaipuria, Chairman of the Organising Committee of CITI for 2nd Atexcon has stated in New Delhi that the 2nd Atexcon is expected to be a larger event than the 1st Conference organised in December 2005, with a larger participation from other Asian countries as well as western importers and machinery manufacturers.
Shri Shekhar Agarwal, Deputy Chairman – CITI stated that some workshops would also be organised with 2nd Atexcon on issues relevant to textile industries of Asia in order to ensure that the participants are able to pay focused attention to specific sectors in addition to dealing with international scenario as a whole in the Business Sessions of the Conference.
