CII calls New Haryana Industrial Policy as industry friendly

The idea of developing SMEs by creating a Center of Competitiveness is indeed a much-awaited step. Also, the formation of various clusters in Panipat, Faridabad and Gurgaon would improve the global competitiveness of the domestic industries, expressed Mr Davar.

CII has also welcomed the decision of the State Government to establish strategic linkages between industry and technical institutions to meet future manpower requirements. The decision to treat private sector investment in power generation at par with industrial units would boost the power sector in the State.

The proactive and visionary Industrial Policy will ensure a well-rounded development of Haryana with a focus on creating a lucrative investment environment through infrastructure creation, reduced regulations and general facilitation, noted Mr Davar.

The development of various special economic zones, industrial model townships, mega petrochemical hub, theme parks, private sector investment in infrastructure & power, trade exhibition and convention centres etc would not only generate employment opportunities but also ensure sustainable development of the State, stated Mr Davar.
