Federal Statistical Office of Germany announces that according to provisional results, the turnover achieved by wholesale trade in Germany in March 2006 increased 6.9 percent in nominal terms and 4.7 percent in real terms compared with the corresponding month in the previous year.
When adjusted for calendar and seasonal variations (Berlin Method 4.1 - BV 4.1), the March 2006 turnover was in nominal terms 0.8 percent and in real terms 1.1 percent smaller than that in the preceding month.
Compared with the previous year, turnover in wholesale trade increased 6.6 percent in nominal terms and 3.8 percent in real terms in the first three months of 2006.
