Vitas announces best textile & garment company awards

Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (Vitas) in association with a leading local weekly has declared a list of the most outstanding textile and garment companies in 2006.
Organising board of Vitas will not only honour companies with the best performance in production and exports, but also draw public attention to solutions for them to improve their business.
Business achievement, strength of brand name, growth rate and position on the domestic market will be considered as criteria for the best garment companies.
Companies that can develop products with outstanding differentiating features and produce cloth for export will be favoured.
There will be three award groups for local textile and garment companies: most outstanding textile and garment company of the year, top 10 outstanding companies in general and top 10 outstanding companies in specific fields.
Results will be announced in September and the awards ceremony will take place in Hanoi.
