World cotton output estimated at 106.2 mn, says Cotton USA Inc

The figures released by Cotton USA Inc estimate the world cotton production for 2005-06 at 106.2 million.
This is about 13.4 million bales less from 2004-05.
Some of the highlights of the reports are:
• '05-06 World mill use estimated at 111.5 million bales, 3.5 million bales above '04-05 world mill use. • '05-06 U.S. mill use estimated at 5.8 million bales, down 500,000 bales from the '04-05 crop. • '05-06 U.S. exports up 2.0 million bales from the '04-05 crop to 15.0 million bales. • '05-06 World ending stocks estimated at 44.1 million bales. • '04-05 World production estimated at 119.6 million bales, up 290,000 bales from May report.
