Upward price movement continues in cotton market as today, the prices per maund reached Rs2475 from Rs2450 on November 27 this week.
According to Cotlook Indices, A Index was 59.35 and B Index stood at 54.75 on November 28, 2006.
As per the Karachi Cotton Association sources, more than 23000 bales changed hands at several cotton stations between the prices Rs2365 and Rs2550 per maund. DGK was the busiest centre with transactions of 4000 bales at prices between Rs2540 and Rs2550 per maund.
