Compared to May 2007, the average consumer price level in June 2007 rose by 0.9%. Prices for goods increased by 0.9% and prices for services increased by 0.7%.
The price decrease for footwear had the greatest impact on consumer price changes in June. Under the impact of seasonal sales, prices for footwear have decreased in June.
In comparison with June of the previous year, there was an increase of consumer prices by 8.8%, including for goods – by 7.5% and for services – by 12.4%. During the first 6 months of 2007, there was an increase of consumer prices by 5.7%.
