• 2006-07 World production estimated at 119.2 million bales, down 100,000 bales from August.
• 2006-07 World mill use at 123.2 million bales, up 500,000 bales from August.
• 2007-08 World production estimated at 117.2 million bales, up 1.3 million bales from August.
• 2007-08 China production at 32.5 million bales, unchanged from August.
• 2007-08 China imports at 15.0 million bales, down 1.0 million bales from August.
• 2007-08 U.S. production estimated at 17.8 million bales, up 460,000 bales from August.
