ABIT & Apex-Brasil new campaign to promote Brazilian sector

Texbrasil - Brazilian Textile Chain Strategic Program, created by ABIT – Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association and developed in partnership with Apex-Brasil - Trade and Investment Promotion Agency introduces its new institutional campaign for the second semester of 2007, which will promote the Brazilian sector both nationally and internationally over the coming two years.

Under the coordination of the Texbrasil team, the Brazilian J3P agency produced six pieces, all following the “From Brazil” slogan. These images will be used at the end of this month and throughout September 2007 at the Madrid International Fashion Week fair (SIMM), the French Lyon Mode City; Prêt-à-Porter Paris; Texworld and Première Vision fairs, the Russian CPM - Collection Première Moscow and the Brazil Fashion Now event (Japan). The photos also illustrate the Program's institutional material to promote its actions around the world.

Each of the six advertising pieces was based on a different theme, selected from among the various Brazilian company segments: Party Fashion, Beachwear, Casual, Homewear, Children's and Jeanswear.

“Internationally, ABIT will choose the most appropriate photo for each fair or event according to its profile, which will guarantee better visibility of Brazilian companies in all actions we support,” says Rafael Cervone Netto, Texbrasil program manager.

Briefing:
ABIT used a survey to identify that the foreign mindset perceives Brazil mainly for its musicality, large size and diversity. The campaign uses these concepts, but goes beyond: it introduces a very different country from the traditional perception, and also values its technology, large industrial complexes, and the strength of its arts and crafts, productive capacity, cooperatives and creativity.
