THe Brazil - U.S. Business Council will meet for their annual Plenary on Wednesday, October 17, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. at U.S. Chamber of Commerce, 1615 H St., N.W. Washington, D.C. This meeting will bring together over two hundred top executives to discuss private sector priorities for bilateral trade and investment with key decision-makers from Brasilia and Washington, D.C.
Attendees will gain perspective from various members from the private sector and government on the Brazil-U.S. Strategic Agenda, the Bilateral Tax Treaty and Tax Mediation Bill, and Bilateral Energy Partnership.
Brazil - U.S. Business Council members will be joined by U.S.Chamber of Commerce Senior Vice President of the International Division Lt. General Daniel Christman, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Carlos M. Gutierrez, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Thomas Shannon, Brazilian Minister of Tourism Martha Suplicy, and Brazilian Ambassador to the United States Antonio Patriota.
