Perry Manufacturing requests CAFTA commercial availability

The Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreements (CITA) is considering Commercial Availability request 36.2007.09.20.Fabric.Alston&BirdforPerryManufacturing.
CITA has scheduled a meeting with representatives of Perry Manufacturing Company, Texpasa S.A., and Elcatex S.A.de C.V. The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 25, 2007, at 11:30am in Room 1410 of the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C.
The meeting is open to all interested parties. Parties who may not attend in person are invited to participate via conference call.
In accordance with section 8(c)(4) of the interim procedures, the purpose of the meeting is to allow the interested entities to provide additional evidence to support their claims and information previously submitted to CITA. Such evidence may include product samples, lab tests, detailed descriptions of production facilities, and comparisons of product performance in the intended end-use of the subject product.
See section 8(c)(4)(i). It is important that company representative(s) are knowledgeable about the production and details of the fabrics. Any additional information submitted during this meeting will be part of the public record, unless properly marked as business confidential. See section 3(a)(3). Any additional information submitted during this meeting must be accompanied by a Due Diligence Certification.
See section 3(b). Any additional evidence you wish to providemay be submitted prior to the meeting to the Chairman, Committee for the Implementation of Textile Agreement, Room H3100, U.S. Department of Commerce, 14th and Constitution Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20230.
