National Conference on 'Export Development and Inclusive Growth'

The Annual Supplement to the Foreign Trade Policy, announced, by Mr. Kamal Nath, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry in April 2007, set a target of taking exports to the US$ 200 billion by 2009.
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) is organizing a full day National Conference on “Export Development and Inclusive Growth” on 22nd October 2007 at 1030 hrs at Ball Room, Shangri – La Hotel, New Delhi.
Mr. Analjit Singh, Chairman, Max India Group of Companies; Mr. Deepak Puri, MD, Moser Baer India Ltd; Mr. Ambassador Swashpawan Singh, Permanent Representative of India to the Offices of the United Nations in Geneva; Ms. Patricia Francis, ED, International Trade Centre, Geneva, will address the Inaugural address at 1030 hrs.
Mr. G K Pillai, Commerce Secretary, Ministry of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Narayan Sethuramon, MD, W S Industries (India) Ltd will address the Valedictory session at 1900 hrs.
