The 2008 ICA Trade Seminar will be taking place in Liverpool from Sunday 20 April – Friday 2 May. The lectures and hotel accommodation will be provided at the Holiday Inn, City Centre.
The Seminar is a two-week intensive course that provides industry professionals, who have a variety of experience and expertise, an insight into every aspect of the raw cotton trade.
Subject areas include Arbitration, Contract Law, Principles of Futures and Options Trading, Practical Comparison of Cottons, Documentary Letters of Credit and Risk Management and Control.
Delegates find that the seminar is extremely useful and that the theoretical and practical knowledge they gain is of great benefit within their professional roles.
Many delegates make contacts and friends that stay with them throughout their cotton careers. Many previous LCA/ ICA Presidents have attended the ICA Seminar that originated over 30 years ago.
As well as an in-depth training programme, the seminar provides a variety of social activities during the course hosted by local cotton companies, including visits out of Liverpool to visit historic sights in the surrounding Countryside.
