An official source of Vietnam National Textile and Apparel Group (VINATEX) said that despite many problems, group's export turnover reached US $1.004 billion, during January to September this year, representing year–on–year rise of 13.5 percent.
This year, Vietnam's textile and apparel industry suffered a lot of difficulties in both production and exports, as it witnessed labour displacement status, skilled labour shortage and investigation for dumping led by US Department of Commerce.
However, the group still reaped good results in the period because it has been implementing new policies, programs and measures on production, marketing and human-resources, especially to recover from such bad situation.
In the first three quarters this year, VINATEX's industrial production value rose by 13 percent, while its sales revenues soared 12.3 percent in comparison with same period last year, totaling to $1.03 billion.
