Katakura to continue cooperation with Doximex

On the working visit to Viet Nam made by the two Japanese business enterprises' delegation on the end of last September, 2007, Katakura Industrial Company and Haneda Shimpei Trading Company have also visited and worked with Viet Nam National Textile and Garment Group (VINATEX).

Mr Vu Duc Giang, General Director, VINATEX and Truong Thi Thanh Ha, General Director of Dong Xuan (Winter Spring) Knitting Company ( Doximex) have cordially received the Japanese partner delegation at the Group's office in Ha Noi.

Vu Duc Giang on behalf of Vinatex's leadership welcomed Japanese business enterprises and marked the cooperative spirit in manufacturing, doing business and distribution of textile and garment products between two Japanese enterprises and Doximex for the past nearly twenty years. Mr Giang also briefly overviewed the business manufacture and export status of textile and garment industry during the year 2006 and nine beginning months of the year 2007 and informed the Japanese delegation about the development roadmap of Viet Nam Textile and Garment industry till the year 2010, carrying out the targets set forth by the Government for Textile and Garment industry concerning the cotton cultivation development and the attempts for production of one billion meters of fabrics.

In order to realise the outlined targets, Vinatex appeals Japanese enterprises to continue their investments into Viet Nam Textile and Garment industry in all processes of spinning,weaving, dyeing, finishing, clothing and fashion, etc.
