The moderate growth in manufacturing continued in October. The sector of industry holding the largest share, i.e. Production grew in all branches of machinery and apparatus manufacturing. Compared to October of the previous year, the growth of production was the highest in the manufacture of precision instruments (39%).

The production increased in the manufacturing of chemicals and furniture, mainly due to increase in exports. In October the small growth was in the manufacture of textiles, because of the increase in the production of sewn textile articles, while the production of yarn and fabric continues to decrease.

The downward trend continues in the manufacturing of wood. The rise in the prices of raw materials constitutes a problem for these branches.
