European Textile and Apparel Organisation (EURATEX) will hold a press conference on EUROPE'S TEXTILE AND CLOTHING INDUSTRY – ITS AMBITIONS FOR THE WTO HONG KONG MINISTERIAL.
The conference is scheduled for Thursday, November 24, 2005 from 12.00 to 14.00 hrs in Brussels.
According to the official press release, this event will provide a unique insight into the wishes of Europe's textile and clothing industry in the run-up to Hong Kong for Press Personnel only.
The event will provide direct interaction between press representatives and the many Board members of EURATEX who will be present, including Chairmen and Directors of national textile and clothing federations throughout the European Union, and EURATEX staff members.
EURATEX's main objective is to promote the interests of its members while taking into account the European Union's institutional framework and its international obligations.
EURATEX acts on behalf of the European textile and clothing industry with European institutions on matters of common interest, relating to decisions or legislation affecting the industry. The subjects concern principally commercial and industrial policies, research and innovation, environmental and social issues.
