AEPC to partake in Sourcing Zone at MAGIC next February

Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) is participating in SOURCING ZONE at MAGIC LAS VEGAS during February 21-24, 2006. The event will be take place at Las Vegas Convention Centre (South Hall), Lower Level, Las Vegas, Nevada.

One of the largest, most compressive and cost effective Apparel Trade Event 'MAGIC' caters to 3500 exhibitors, 5000 brands and 90000 attendees & is dedicated to contract manufacturing and private label business.

The Sourcing Zone is destination for product development groups to find new trends, new niches and fashion “value added” and “commodity” vendors in one efficient, focussed location during the largest apparel market week in the world.

The Sourcing Zone is a convenient space for retail buyers, global importers, licensees and brands to meet and conduct business with offshore manufacturers like India and construct suppliers from the international manufacturing countries.

AEPC had decided to make a strong India pavilion of 40 booths in order to cater to the growing demands of the buying communities.

The fair authorities are offering a built-up booth of 10'X10' (approx. 9 Sq. Mtr) at a price of US$ 5200 (US$ 150 insurance extra) which includes table, chairs, dustbin, carpet, facia, light and power-point. However, as an export promotion measure, the Council is offering a reduced price of US$ 4995 per booth.

The Security deposit of US$ 200 would be paid by AEPC. In addition to this, the Councilwould also provide 100 top hangers or 75 bottom hangers worth approx. US$ 100 per booth in the same price. The assistance of AEPC Coordinator would also be available in the same package. Thus, AEPC package offers substantial saving potential of around US$ 300 per booth + added assistance of the Coordinator.

The Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) is a body build up for promotion of India apparel exports. The Council is a nodal agency sponsored by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India entrusted with the dual responsibility of monitoring garment exports quotas and promotion of exports of readymade garments from India.
