French clothing Co Okaidi attends TexBrasil Program

The Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (ABIT) has organized through the TexBrasil Program, and with APEX-Brasil support, the visit to Brazil of two buyers from the French group Okaidi.

Between October 24 and 28, Eric Deser and Anne Marie Delsart had the opportunity to visit four Brazilian textile industries: Pelmex (São José do Rio Preto - SP), Kinner (Manduri – SP), Marisol (Jaraguá do Sul – SC) and Vicunha (Paulista – PE).

They are not working with Brazil yet, but are interested in researching suppliers in the country as they look for differentiated products.

ABIT was introduced to the group by the Brazilian embassy in Paris.

The buyers are interested in the following 'private label' products, for ages 0 to 14: jeans, popeline, gabardine, serge and T-shirts.

During visits to the industries, they requested samples with price schedules.

Children's clothes shops - children's fashion trends for boys clothing and girls clothing company Okaidi has 350 stores, 260 of them in France and 90 are distributed in other countries.

The group's main brands are: Okaid, Obaibi, Ok and Jacadi.

ABIT (The Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association) represents the integration of the Brazilian textile chain.
