Sunbrella Fabrics teams up with Irwin Feld Design

Sunbrella fabrics is teaming up with Irwin Feld Design of Stamford, Conn. for the sale of a Mid Century Ottoman upholstered in the Sunbrella fabrics Steeplechase Malibu and Canvas Hot Pink. All proceeds from the sale of the ottoman will benefit the Connecticut Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
“We added the color Hot Pink to our line because it is trend-right, fun and ideal for indoor and outdoor décor,” said Gina Wicker, design and creative director for Sunbrella fabrics. “We are happy that the color resonated with Irwin Feld and inspired them to make the fabrics their own and raise money for such a worthy cause.”
The Pretty in Pink 4 Life Sculptural Mid Century Ottoman from Irwin Feld was originally manufactured in the 1960s. The piece was refurbished last month with a fuchsia powder coat finish and reupholstered with Sunbrella Steeplechase Malibu in a mitered pattern and accented with Canvas Hot Pink piping. The ottoman is appropriate for indoor or outdoor use and measures 17 inches high with a diameter of 22 inches.
“Buying this ottoman is the perfect opportunity for people to beautify their surroundings while also helping to raise money for breast cancer awareness and research,” said Marcy Feld of Irwin Feld. “We refer to this piece as a very special ottoman for a very important cause.”
