Nuance appoints Carlo Bernasconi as EVP for strategic marketing & communication

switzerland based cosmetic company the nuance group further reinforces its head office structure by appointing a new executive vice president business development & strategic marketing. carlo bernasconi, currently ceo europe for the nuance group, will take up this new position with immediate effect. until a suitable successor is found, carlo bernasconi will continue to lead the european organisation.
in his new position, carlo bernasconi will be responsible for the following areas:
• corporate business development
• strategic marketing & communications
• global airport relations
• global category management
carlo bernasconi joined the nuance group in 1999 as buying & merchandising director for europe south and was subsequently promoted to managing director europe south and, in 2003, ceo of the newly-merged single european organisation. he has also been instrumental in building the foundation for a globally aligned buying and category management organisation.
