Banswara Syntex Q3 net soars up 224.22%

Banswara Syntex Ltd (BSL) registered a net profit of Rs23.1 million in Q3 of 2006 compared to Rs71.21 lakh, for similar period previous year, which represents an increase of 224.22 percent.
Sales of Rs774.9 million for the third quarter ended December 2005 recorded an increase of 30.13 percent over 2004.
Profit after interest rose Rs70.5 million compared to Rs40.2 million in Q3 of 2005. Increase in production by adding cotton yarn and garments contributed to the topline.
Banswara Syntex reported sales of Rs2.22 billion and profits after tax stood at Rs49.7 million for the nine month period ended December 2005.
For the year ended March 2005, The company has reported a topline of Rs2.49 billion, and a net profit of Rs37.7 million for the year ended March 2005.
