Sports lifestyle company Quiksilver Inc has appointed Nick Adcock to the role of President, DC Shoes, effectively immediately.
Adcock will report directly to Bernard Mariette, President, Quiksilver Inc, and will be based at DC Shoes' global headquarters in Vista, CA. DC Shoes is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Quiksilver, Inc.
Adcock has been with DC Shoes for three years and previously served as Australian General Manager, in which he set up the company's first subsidiary operation. From this role, he was promoted to handle the regional responsibilities for DC Shoes in Asia/Pacific as the Regional General Manager, during which time he had the opportunity to work closely with DC Shoes founders Ken Block and Damon Way.

Block will be assuming the new role of CBO and will join Executive VP & Co-Founder Damon Way and Adcock to form the Executive Committee that will chart the future of DC Shoes.
