Manufacturer and distributor of thread and specialty engineered yarns Ruddick Corporation reported that at its Annual Meeting of Shareholders John R Belk, Thomas W Dickson, James E S Hynes and Harold C Stowe were reelected to the Board of Directors to serve for three-year terms expiring in 2009.
Shareholders also approved the Amended Ruddick Corporation Director Deferral Plan.
In addition, the Company announced that its Board of Directors, at a regularly scheduled meeting, declared a quarterly dividend in the amount of $0.11 per share to be paid on April 1, 2006, to shareholders of record on March 10, 2006.
