Hancock Fabrics appoints Kathleen Kennedy as Sr VP & CMO

Leading specialty store retailer, Hancock Fabrics, Inc announced that Kathleen Kennedy has joined the Company as Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer.
In this role, Kennedy will be responsible for marketing, sales promotion and branding strategy, and will report to Jane Aggers, Chief Executive Officer.
Aggers told that they are delighted to welcome Kathleen to Hancock Fabrics.

Kathleen's broad array of skills, experience and customer focus will make her a key member of their team and help them further define Hancock Fabrics' leadership position as America's Fabric Store."
As a recognized marketing and business leader, Kennedy brings more than 25 years of strategic insight, management and marketing experience to Hancock Fabrics.
Most recently, she was Executive Vice President - Corporate Marketing for vFinance Inc, a diversified financial services firm, with responsibility for marketing strategy, online and product development.
Previously, she was Vice President Customer Development for Office Depot where she led the organization's customer-centric marketing strategy and programs.
Kennedy also held executive marketing positions with OfficeMax and Broadway Stores.
In addition, she has substantial brand agency and media experience, including serving as Managing Partner/Group Director for OgilvyOne, a division of OgilvyOne & Mather.
